PEERS® for School Age Children

PEERS® (The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) is an evidence-based social skills program for adolescents who are interested in making and keeping friends and/or handling conflict and rejection

 

PEERS Relational Skills Program Moose Jaw Inc. (PEERS MJ) is pleased to offer the 16-week PEERS for School-Age Children for the ages of 8 to 17 years.

  • Participants and parents meet weekly in the evening for 90 minute sessions for 16 weeks

  • Social skills are taught through didactic lessons, role-play demonstrations and practice during group socialization activities and homework assignments

  • Parents attend separate sessions simultaneously and are taught how to assist their adolescent in making and keeping friends
